Mr. Sarmiento serves as Director for the West U.S. Region at Lovett Industrial, joining in February 2023. He is responsible for the execution of development projects, including pre-construction activities such as due diligence, budgeting, site plan design, entitlements, and permitting. Mr. Sarmiento works closely with project teams throughout all phases of development, from inception through disposition. Since joining Lovett Industrial, he has entitled and permitted multiple industrial developments across the region, successfully navigating CEQA and local entitlement requirements in various jurisdictions.
Prior to joining Lovett Industrial, Mr. Sarmiento served as a Finance Manager in the Capital Markets Group at Panattoni Development Company, where he focused on debt and equity capitalization, operational support, and financial management for industrial developments in the Southern California and Chicago markets.
Mr. Sarmiento earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate with an emphasis in Finance from the University of San Diego.
