Mr. Coutinho serves as Senior Development Manager at Lovett Industrial, where he leads pre-construction, due-diligence, and entitlement activities, including land use planning, agency approvals, design, and construction activities. Mr. Coutinho joined Lovett Industrial in April 2022 to expand and reinforce our US Eastern Regional platform. Prior to that, Mr. Coutinho was a Vice President at Brookfield Properties within their Northeast industrial division and managed construction and entitlements of more than 2 million square feet of industrial space on sites across the northeast US. Before his time at Brookfield, Mr. Coutinho spent 6 years at Langan Engineering and 11 years at Rinker Design Associates, working on more than 25 million square feet of large-scale commercial real estate developments ranging from corporate headquarters, warehouse/distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment centers, including multi-story warehouses and mission-critical facilities. Many of Mr. Coutinho’s projects have received recognition from industry associations such as NAIOP, the Urban Land Institute, and the American Council of Engineering Companies. Mr. Coutinho has a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toledo. He is also a Licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and a LEED Accredited Professional.
