Mr. Coutinho serves as Vice President at Lovett Industrial, where he leads pre-construction, due diligence, entitlement, design, and construction activities across the company’s East U.S. Region. Since joining the firm in 2022, he has played a key role in expanding and strengthening Lovett Industrial’s regional presence, completing more than 1.5 million square feet of industrial development projects.
Prior to joining Lovett Industrial, Mr. Coutinho served as Vice President at Brookfield Properties within the company’s Northeast industrial division, where he managed the construction and entitlement of more than 2 million square feet of industrial development projects across the Northeast U.S.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Coutinho spent six years with Langan Engineering and 11 years with Rinker Design Associates, contributing to more than 25 million square feet of large-scale commercial real estate developments. His experience spans corporate headquarters, warehouse and distribution facilities, e-commerce fulfillment centers, multi-story industrial projects, and mission-critical developments.
Several of Mr. Coutinho’s projects have received industry recognition from organizations including NAIOP, Urban Land Institute, and American Council of Engineering Companies.
Mr. Coutinho earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Toledo. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states and a LEED Accredited Professional.
