Mr. Sowell serves as an Associate for the Houston, Central, and South Texas markets at Lovett Industrial, joining in March 2025. His responsibilities include evaluating acquisition and development opportunities, as well as supporting financing, leasing, and disposition efforts. Prior to joining Lovett Industrial, Mr. Sowell worked on the Capital Markets team at Hall Group, a Dallas-based commercial real estate developer and lender. He supported financing efforts for the firm’s assets, development projects, and note-on-note transactions while also underwriting hospitality and multifamily loan opportunities. Prior to his role at Hall Group, he worked at Texas Capital Bank, specializing in loan underwriting across various asset classes and nationwide markets. Mr. Sowell is a native Houstonian and earned his Master of Science in Finance and Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from The University of Texas at Austin.
